Adoption Process
From First Meow to Welcome Home!
At Snaggletooth Cat Rescue, we believe that every adoption is a love story waiting to happen. Our adoption process is easy, thoughtful, and designed to make sure both you and your future feline BFF are a purrfect fit.
Here’s how it works:
Submit Application
Fill out the adoption application right here on our website. Tell us all about you—we’re all ears (and whiskers)!
Let’s Chat
Once we’ve reviewed your application, one of our friendly admins will give you a call to talk more and set up a meet-and-greet with the kitty (or kitties!) you’re interested in.
Meet & Greet
You’ll get to meet your potential new family member in person—along with any human or furry roommates. If the spark is there, you can take your kitty home that day! Need a little time to sleep on it? No problem—we’ll arrange to bring your new friend to you when you’re ready to commit.
Bring Your Kitty Home
Once you officially adopt, we’ll finalize the paperwork when your kitty moves in. We’re still here for you after adoption, too—with follow-up calls at two and four weeks to answer any questions or just to hear how things are going.
All cats are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and come with their full medical records—no surprises, just cuddles.
Adoption Fees: $170
